History of College Football is a gridiron memory lane, a chapter dedicated to every one of the 130 FBS teams as well as coverage of HBCU and Ivy League football. For each of the 130 FBS teams, we chronicle the program's first year of play, national championships, Heisman Trophy winners, best coaches, most stunning wins, most stunning losses, most stunning ties, best teams, storied players, rivalries and hullabaloo, a special section dedicated to preserving the team's yesteryear. There are special interest stories dedicated to moments in college football history to be remembered and revered.
